Early Childhood Educator Workforce Supports Program
This grant funding is also available to: licensed for-profit programs serving children up to kindergarten age that do not qualify for affordability funding licensed programs that only provide out-of-school care to kindergarten and school-age children Supports include funding for wage top-ups, professional development, release time and mandatory employer contributions. Eligible programs and agencies apply on behalf of their paid, certified ECE employees and family day home educators.

In keeping with the ministry’s commitment to support all licensees/licence applicants regardless of auspice, for-profit and not-for-profit child care licensees/licence applicants who are enrolled in CWELCC are eligible to apply for Start-up Grants.
